Introduction
For the 25th edition, the picturesque Low Tatras will once again serve as the backdrop for the ilide2024conference. This year, we’re excited to announce a special focus on cutting-edge library trends, including artificial intelligence (AI), research data management, open science, open data, and other innovations shaping the future of libraries.
As always, ilide conferences attract a global gathering of experts in digital preservation, digital collections access, and digital processing. Our mission, as the Innovative Library in the Digital Era, is to delve into subjects that fully embody our name, presenting visionary and original ideas rooted in the extensive experience of our participating experts and institutions.
Attendees can expect presentations from leading representatives of prominent institutions dedicated to librarianship, archiving, information technology, and cultural and collecting activities.
Moreover, this year’s conference will feature hands-on workshops showcasing practical examples of AI applications in libraries. Participants will have the opportunity to learn firsthand how AI can enhance library services and workflows but also about the risks related to it.

The accommodation for the participants is provided in 4-star hotel Ski & Wellness Residence Družba in Jasná, which is also the venue of the conference. You can find directions to Hotel Družba here. The conference participants may use the parking facility near the hotel free of charge.
The registration fee includes all meals and refreshments during the entire event. Breakfast is served in form of a buffet. At the Hotel Družba Daily Bar you may find an excellent offer of teas and coffee lovers will certainly appreciate a unique taste of coffee prepared in a traditional way. In the menu you will find a selection of specialties from the Slovak, Russian, Italian and French cuisine prepared by first-class hotel cooks.
In the hotel you may use free access to the Internet via WIFI interface.
In their leisure time, the conference participants may use the relaxation centre with swimming pool, hydromassage pool, saunas, ice water tub, jacuzzi tub, and fitness facility. In the vicinity of the hotel they may visit the caves Demänovská ľadová jaskyňa and Demänovská jaskyňa slobody.
